3 days of intense work at FOOD 4 FUTURE - EXPO FOODTECH

CEIN were accompanied by the Navarrese startups Fruit & Food Products, Genbioma, Isanatur Spain S.L., MOA foodtech, Nawattia, NUCAPS, Nulab, Pyroistech | Experts in optoelectronic solutions, Urtech Water and VisionQuality Systems, SL.
Other companies from Navarre linked to Cein and our ecosystem also participated in the congress, such as Bread Free, Betternostic, Ingredalia S.L., TedCas and Yenxa by Almotech- circular economy, also linked to the entity.
Two of our startups, Genbioma and Urtech Water have won the FoodTech Innovation Awards in the categories ‘Healthy food’ and ‘Best automation and robotics solution for the food value chain’. Utech was also a finalist in the ‘Most Innovative Startup’ category.
Throughout these three days we have led a round table in which the opportunities and challenges that arise when considering the integration between human, animal and environmental health (which includes the ‘one health’ concept) in the context of business sustainability have been addressed, and in which Betternostic, Bread Free, Ingredalia S.L., NUCAPS and ALIMENTOS SANYGRAN S.L. have participated.
Within the framework of the European Food-scalEUp project, we have organised a workshop to analyse, together with the project's partners and investment entities and scaleups and corporations, the keys that scaleups must take into account when raising international funds. Also within the same framework of the European project, we led a panel to present the advanced acceleration services that have been designed as pilots of the project and that are being implemented, in addition to CEIN, by the partner entities Galicia Food Cluster, CTRIA - Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency (Hungary) and Foodvalley NL (Netherlands).
