In this context, the European Food-scalEUp project has come into its own, demonstrating how it supports emerging players in the food ecosystem in their quest for sustainable and competitive development.

Enriching panels on collaborative innovation

The discussions highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration in meeting today's food challenges. Several speakers from partner organisations of the Food-scalEUp project shared concrete examples of success, illustrating how the pooling of resources can accelerate the emergence of new solutions.

Practical workshops for entrepreneurs

SMEs and start-ups had the opportunity to take part in interactive sessions to develop their innovation skills, particularly in the fields of food processing and logistics. These workshops enabled participants to explore a wide range of themes.

A focus on funding and partnerships
A round table dedicated to financing revealed key opportunities for start-ups wishing to turn their ideas into concrete solutions. Food-scalEUp presented its role as a facilitator, helping startups overcome financial obstacles and access the tools and networks they need to succeed.

Food-scalEUp, with its inclusive and results-oriented approach, has proved to be an essential lever for the SMEs and start-ups present. By providing resources, fostering transnational collaborations and sharing technical expertise, the project offers a solid framework for turning innovative ideas into viable projects.
The event also showed that innovation is not limited to large companies: it can and must come from smaller players, who are often more agile and creative in the face of today's challenges.

Synergy Days 2024 proved that the future of food innovation in Europe lies in a collective effort in which every player, whatever its size, has a key role to play. Thanks to Food-scalEUp, SMEs and start-ups have the tools they need to turn their ambitions into tangible realities.
